Work description
Biomedical image processing (pre-processing, filtering, feature extraction in the time, frequency, and phase domains). Development and validation of artificial intelligence models. Support in the acquisition and management of data collected by the group in a clinical or laboratory setting. Experimental evaluation of algorithms, development and documentation of the work performed. Support in writing at least one scientific article.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
Minimum profile required
Experience in biomedical image processing.Knowledge of machine learning/deep learning.Experience in scientific programming (e.g., Python and/or MATLAB) and code management tools.Good knowledge of written and spoken scientific English.
Preference factors
Prior experience in developing algorithms for biomedical image processing (especially aligned with the research group's areas) and machine learning/deep learning techniques. Prior knowledge of data collection, management, and preparation for analysis. At least one publication in a high-impact journal.
