Work description
- original scientific contributions to the state of the art in quantum software engineering; - application to project funding entities; - leading research teams, in particular, in the context of collaborative research projects; - supervision of higher education students in this area; - participation in development and technology transfer activities towards achieving wider economic and societal impact.
Academic Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Computer Science
Minimum profile required
- 2 articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, ranked in the first quartile by the Scimago Journal Rank, and whose contributions are clearly framed within this call research area.
Preference factors
• Proven research track record in any of the research lines identified in the Goals section above: i) quantum machine learning; ii) quantum combinatorial optimization; iii) numerical (Monte Carlo) integration using quantum resources; or iv) quantum walks. • Experience in lecturing and supervising higher education students in topics related to quantum computing, particularly in the research lines identified in the previous item; • Collaborative mindset: Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary research teams and contribute to collaborative projects, and good communication skills.
