Work description
The research developed by the candidate will focus on shared micromobility systems and quantitative methods to support operational decisions in this context, namely in the charging and/or swapping of batteries. New approaches will be developed, namely mathematical models and metaheuristics. This is a collaborative position and the candidate is expected to work with the other team members.
Academic Qualifications
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Operations Research, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or similar areas.
Minimum profile required
Scientific expertise in Operational Research. Experience with shared micromobility research. High autonomy. Fluency in OOP languages such as C++. Proficiency in English.
Preference factors
Work developed in shared micromobility. Experience with mathematical programming and metaheuristics. Good communication skills. Fluency in English, written and spoken.
