Work description
Develop a hybrid method, involving otimization and machine learning, to solve online and semi-online 3D container loading problems. The candidate is expected to excel in the dissemination of the results through the publication of scientific papers in international journals and conferences.
Academic Qualifications
MSc Industrial Engineering and Management, Operational Research, or similar areas.
Minimum profile required
Current enrolment in a doctoral program.Experience with heuristics and machine learning in 3D packing problems.Proficiency in English language, in writing and speaking. Ability to communicate properly.
Preference factors
Published papers and work developed in the area of research and/or the application area.
