Work description
- Review of the state of the art in time series forecasting and forecast aggregation; - Data analysis and implementation of forecasting models/algorithms in Python; - Testing and validation of different forecast aggregation methods; - Writing articles and technical documentation, and supporting the dissemination of results;
Minimum profile required
- Experience in time series forecasting;- Programming skills in Python;- Knowledge of data science;- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;- Familiarity with version control systems (Git);- Fluency in English (spoken and written);
Preference factors
- Experience with large language models (LLMs); - Interest in the energy sector and digital innovation; - Participation in forecasting competitions (e.g., Kaggle); - Scientific publications
