Work description
- Review of the state of the art on Distributed Acoustic Sensing, including operating principles, signal characteristics, and the main processing and analysis approaches. - Acquisition and pre-processing of DAS signals, including filtering, noise reduction, normalisation, feature extraction, and exploratory data analysis. - Development and implementation of advanced data-driven models, using machine learning and deep learning techniques applied to DAS signals.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Physical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum profile required
- Final graduation mark higher or equal to 14;- Fluency in English (spoken and written);- 1 scientific publication in a conference or journal with peer-review process;- 1 project report written in english.
Preference factors
- Experience in participating in development projects; - Experience with Distributed Acoustic Sensing.
