Work description

The work, to be developed during this grant, has the main goal of designing new software mechanisms that allow detecting suspicious patterns, which are typically manifested by attacks that intend to compromise the security of operating systems. In addition to the design of the aforementioned mechanisms, these must be implemented into a proof-of-concept prototype that must be experimentally validated. The tasks described in this working plan demand the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Software Engineering which are usually introduced in curricular units included in the curricula of BSc courses in Informatics Engineering.
