Work description

The work plan for this grant includes the following main activities: 1) Exploring the eBPF technology in the Windows operating system and identifying its current limitations; 2) Designing observability tools aimed at ransomware detection, including the analysis of I/O patterns at the storage and network stacks; and 3) Building a honeypot with a realistic and attractive environment for ransomware attacks.

Academic Qualifications

- BSC Degree in Informatics Engineering or related field.

Minimum profile required

- Solid knowledge of operating systems, including kernel structures;- Proficiency in the C programming language;- Knowledge of ransomware attacks;- Practical experience with eBPF technology in Linux and/or Windows environments.

Preference factors

- Knowledge and experience with data entropy calculation algorithms.
