Work description
Responsibilities under the grant: - Comprehensive study of resource utilization patterns (CPU, GPU, memory, disk) in advanced computing infrastructures. - Design a storage and memory system that enables sharing local and remote resources. - Implement and optimize a prototype based on the initial design. - Conduct experimental evaluations of the developed prototype under production infrastructures. The tasks described in this work plan require the application and development of concepts and techniques from Computer Engineering, which are typically addressed in the core curriculum of the Bachelor in Computer Science or Bachelor in Informatics Engineering.
Academic Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a BSc program in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
Minimum profile required
- Experience with monitoring, profiling, and visualization tools (i.e., Grafana, Kibana, ElasticSearch).- Solid knowledge on operating systems and distributed systems.- Knowledge on resource disaggregation.
Preference factors
- Experience in the design of storage and memory systems. - Solid knowledge of the organization of advanced computing infrastructures. - Experience with the C/C++ programming language.
