Work description
The selected candidate will join the Machine Learning and NLP team of LIAAD-INESC TEC (FCUP or INESC TEC) and will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and young environment in close interaction with research engineers, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who are working on varied aspects that concern Machine Learning, Information Extraction and Computer Science.
Academic Qualifications
Computer Science or equivalent, preferably with a focus on NLP
Minimum profile required
- Strong motivation to work with NLP algorithms and tools;- Background and experience with NLP;- Good communication skills;- Knowledge of programming languages Python and R;- Motivation to co-coordinate students and projects.
Preference factors
Strong publications in NLP; Knowledge of Python and development tools (e.g. GIT); Being able to use Portuguese as a language of study is important.
