Nanophotonics and Plasmonics Applied to Optical Sensors

Work description
The work is carried out within the ELIANA project and focuses on the experimental development of plasmonic platforms based on anisotropic nanoparticles and metallic thin films. The fellow will contribute to the integration of plasmonic nanostructures, development of the optical platform, and implementation of biosensors for chemical and biological detection in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment.
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics Engineering, Physics, or related areas.
Minimum profile required
Laboratory experience in optics, photonics, sensors or nanotechnologies. Basic knowledge of scientific instrumentation, data analysis, and scientific English. Motivation for experimental work.
Preference factors
Previous experience in plasmonics, optical sensors, nanomaterials or biosensors. Knowledge of optical fibers, spectroscopy, microfluidics or chemical surface functionalization.
