Marine Infrastructures

Work description

The doctoral work will focus on the structural and logistical adaptation of ports to support floating offshore wind energy and operations involving autonomous underwater robotics. The work will include techno-structural analysis, logistical assessment, the development of comparative matrices, and proposals for adaptation and preliminary engineering design solutions.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related field, with preference given to candidates with a background in Civil Engineering applied to offshore or hydraulic/structural engineering, port engineering, or maritime structures.

Preference factors

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in: Maritime and port structural engineering Structural analysis and infrastructure design Port planning and operations Logistics and management of port infrastructure
