Work description

Based on the factors that influence the transportation and distribution of orders in urban environment, develop models to evaluate different strategies for order delivery (with special focus on the level of impact on air quality); To develop simulation models to evaluate delivery strategies for several case studies; To write a report on the work developed and the results obtained.

Academic Qualifications

Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum profile required

Knowledge of simulation techniques;Programming experience;Knowledge of databases.

Preference factors

Experience in the development of quantitative models; Knowledge of qualitative research methods; Experience in the logistics area and/or environmental impact assessment; Publication of scientific results in conferences or peer-reviewed journals in the area of the tender; Fluency in English and Portuguese (oral and written).
