Work description
1. Literature review of relevant work. 2. Development of a numerical tools to compute the band structure in 2D materials. 3. Study of the band structure in orthorhombic and monoclinic lattices. 4. Writing of the grant activities report.
Academic Qualifications
Degree in Physics, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
Minimum profile required
- Proficiency in programming and use of computational tools
Preference factors
- previous work in optics or electromagnetics - previous work in numerical simulation - enrollment in a MsC thesis in a subject close to the activities addressed in this grant
