Work description

- Design and optimize a wideband and dual polarization measurement probe through electromagnetic simulation, followed by fabrication and experimental characterization in anechoic chamber. - Design an electronic control system for sequential activation of the measurement probes; - Create technical drawings of the mechanical components to be manufactured. - Assemble and integrate the fabricated components together with the specified microwave absorbers, with 3D printed accessories, as well as the motorized rotation stages. - Perform functional tests for the validation of the developed system. - Writing of the grant activities report.

Academic Qualifications

Enrolment in MSc in Electrical Engineering, or similar.

Minimum profile required

- Experience with the prototyping of parts in a 3D printer, electronics circuits design and step motor control solutions.

Preference factors

Hands-on experience with antenna characterization systems; Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation software.
