Work description

- Analyze and compare different microwave absorbers suitable for the targeted application. - Design the measurement system in a 3D electromagnetic simulation platform, and optimize key performance indicators such as multipath rejection. - Design and optimize the measurement probe through electromagnetic simulation, followed by fabrication and experimental characterization in anechoic chamber. - Create technical drawings of the mechanical components to be manufactured. - Assemble and integrate the fabricated components together with the specified microwave absorbers, with 3D printed accessories, as well as the motorized rotation stages. - Perform antenna test measurements runs using previously characterized antennas allowing for the validation of the system. - Writing of the grant activities report.
