Work description
- Design of a system to automate the installation and measurement of middleware features for DataSpaces. - Implementation of an experimental prototype and comparative evaluation of existing systems. The tasks described in this working plan demand the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Software Engineering which are usually introduced in curricular units included in the curricula of the Mestrados Integrados em Engenharia Informática or Mestrado em Engenharia Informática studies.
Academic Qualifications
BSc Degree in Informatics Engineering Sciences.
Minimum profile required
Experience with installation automation systems (DevOps), namely: Docker and Ansible.Solid knowledge on operating systems.Solid knowledge on distributed systemsWritten and spoken proficiency in Portuguese and English languages.
Preference factors
Experience with benchmarking tools for data processing systems. Experience in the Java programming language.
