Work description
- Identify the methodologies, reference architectures and prototypes currently in use within the concept of data spaces; - Deployment of operational tests with several data space reference implementations available; - Specify and implement a data app for the chosen reference implementation of one data space connector, that can reliably allow access in the data space to data managed by a DBMSs; - Include the capability to deal with distributed DBMSs; - Write a dissertation on the topic of the work done in the context of this grant.
Academic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a MSc programme in Computer Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge in Distributed Systems;- Knowledge and use of database systems (relational, NoSQL);- Knowledge with the data spaces concept (interoperability connectors);- Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
Preference factors
- Knowledge with the TSG or TRUE connector reference implementations; - Knowledge with fault-tolerance techniques; - Experience with RESTFull interfaces.
