Work description
The work plan will involve: - Study of strategies for the reduction of energy consumption of communications networks; - Study of energy consumption models of SD-WAN equipment; - Design and implementation of traffic engineering strategies; - Comparative evaluation of different strategies; - Writing the results in scientific paper format.
Academic Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the Integrated Master in Informatics Engineering or the Master in Informatics Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems;- Knowledge of computer networks demonstrated through the classification received in curricular units within the area;- Experience in development in C and Python languages;- Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
Preference factors
- Knowledge and experience in computer network simulation environments; - Knowledge of Software-Defined Networks.
