Work description

In the contexto of project ATE, providing service availability is desirable, which typically requires using fault tolerant mechanisms. As such, the following activities are defined for this grant: - explore fault tolerant mechanisms; - design and implement a scalable and partition-tolerant distributed agreement protocol; - to write a dissertation on the topic of the work done in the contexto of this grant; - write an activity report regarding the grant.

Academic Qualifications

Be enrolled in a MSc program in computer science or Informatics Engineering.

Minimum profile required

- Knowledgeable in Distributed Systems;- Knowledgeable in Fault Tolerance.

Preference factors

- Comprehensive knowledge of the distributed agreement problem; - Comprehensive knowledge of protocols that solve distributed agreement.
