Work description
- Design and implementation of a benchmarking tool for injecting faults in local storage systems; - Comprehensive exploration and analysis of realistic use cases of faults in local storage systems; - Experimental evaluation of the developed prototype under different use cases. The tasks described in this working plan demand the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Software Engineering which are usually introduced in curricular units included in the curricula of the Mestrados Integrados em Engenharia Informática or Mestrado em Engenharia Informática studies.
Academic Qualifications
BSc Degree in Informatics Engineering Sciences.
Minimum profile required
- Solid knowledge on distributed systems;- Solid knowledge on fault tolerance;- Knowledge on local storage systems.
Preference factors
- Experience with the C pr C++ programming language; - Experience on system´s benchmarking.
