Work description

Evaluation of the scalability of existing simulation tools and selection of the most appropriate one; Proposal of a simulation model of at least 2 epidemic protocols existing in the literature; Implementation of the simulation model in the chosen simulation tool; Experimental evaluation of the model and refinement of the proposed model and analysis of the results. The tasks described in this work plan require the application and development of concepts and techniques in the area of Computer Engineering typically taught in curricular units that compose the core of the syllabus of Integrated Masters in Computer Engineering or Masters in Computer Engineering.

Academic Qualifications

BSc Degree in Informatics Engineering or similar.

Minimum profile required

Knowledge in Python programing language.

Preference factors

Knowledge of epidemic protocols; Experience with discrete event simulation tools in Python.
