Work description
- Identification and study via surveying the state of the art of edge-cloud data management systems and their benchmarking options; - Design, implementation, and evaluation of edge-cloud benchmarking system; - Writing and submission of scientific papers; - Writing of a MSc dissertation.
Academic Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a MSc program in Computer Science or Informatics Engineering.
Minimum profile required
- Knowledge and experience with data management systems, particularly for edge-cloud;- Knowledge and experience in Distributed Systems;- Excellent spoken and written use of English language.
Preference factors
- Knowledge and experience with data management systems, particularly for edge-cloud; - Experience with the YCSB benchmarking system and with the TPC-C,TPC-H, TPCx-IoT specifications.
