Work description

Support in the coordination of the European projects AI4Lungs, PHASE IV AI project and the PRR project HfPT, and on technical tasks associated to these projects and PLURIANUAL LA. Guidance of junior researchers, scientific production aimed at international journals and conferences, intervention in scientific and professional communities, as well as coordination and participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives, particularly in the area of the aforementioned projects: - Develop scientific activity in the area of artificial intelligence to support projects in the areas of computer vision and machine learning. - Support the technical execution of R&D projects, including AI4Lungs, PHASE IV AI, HfPT and PLURIANUAL LA. -Develop scientific activity towards the scientific production for international journals and conferences, guidance of junior researchers, as well as coordination and participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives. -Implementation of R&D projects, including occasional activities of coordination and management, support the valorisation of the knowledge and results obtained in the course of the developed activities, including intellectual property rights.

Academic Qualifications

National, foreigner and stateless candidates holding a PhD degree in Informatics Engineering, or related scientific area, and holders of a scientific and technical curriculum showing a relevant profile for the activity to be developed, can apply for the tender.

Minimum profile required

Previous experience of carrying out national/international research projects, in artificial intelligence tasks, namely in computer vision and machine learning.

Preference factors

Previous experience in writing scientific and technical documents resulting from research activities, as well as participation in writing scientific projects proposals.
