Work description
Under the guidance of the scientific coordinator, the grant holder should: 1. Propose visualisation solutions based on identified personas and tasks; 2. Create low-fidelity prototypes of visualisations; 3. Validate these with users and incorporate improvements; 4. Develop functional prototypes of the visualisations and their integration into a dashboard for decision support; 5. Develop a user testing protocol (depending on the identified personas and tasks); 6. Conduct user testing, and collect and process the results; 7. Analyse and discuss the results; 8. Collaborate on drafting the documentation and the fellowship activity report; 9. Throughout the fellowship, depending on the results, there may be opportunities to present these at conferences in the fields of HCI, visualisation and intelligent transport systems.
Academic Qualifications
Degree student or Master’s student in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
Minimum profile required
The award of the scholarship is conditional upon applicants enrolling on a degree programme or non-degree courses at higher education institutions.

- Desempenho académico de excelência em matérias como: Computação Gráfica, Engenharia de Software, Programação e Inteligência Artificial; - Classificação final de licenciatura igual ou superior a 16 valores. - Conhecimentos e competências demonstradas em Visualização de Informação, em HCI (Interação Humano-Computador) e em metodologias de avaliação; - Capacidades demonstradas de comunicação e de trabalho em equipa.
