Work description

The work plan aims for the scholarship holder to participate in a subset of the project's R&D activities, under the supervision of the research team. The scholarship holder will contribute to: i) the development and characterization of a synthetic data generator representative of the use cases of procurement and production management; ii) optimization of the functioning of prediction, classification, recommendation and optimization algorithms in the context of the project infrastructure; and iii) the design and implementation of data infrastructure components and model deployment (pipelines, APIs, orchestration and monitoring) required to integrate these algorithms into the project platform. The scholarship holder will also participate in defining experimental protocols, evaluating model performance in the infrastructure context, and producing technical and scientific documentation. The training plan will include regular supervision by the advisor, training in good practices of data engineering and scientific software, computational reproducibility, and communication of results.
