INESC TEC’S researchers in joint publication in operational research
Alberto Adrego Pinto and João Paulo Almeida, researchers of INESC TEC’s Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Laboratory (LIAAD), and José Fernando Oliveira, researcher for INESC TEC’s Centre for Industrial Engineering and Management (CEGI), in partnership with António Ismael Vaz, professor at the University of Minho, edited the book entitled Operational Research, IO 2017 - XVIII Congress of APDIO, Valença, Portugal, June 28-30, 2017, number 223 of the series Springer Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics, published by the prestigious publisher Springer.

This book with preface by Ruth Kaufman, president of The Operational Research Society, gathers 28 papers that were selected and presented at the XVIII Congress of the Portuguese Association of Operational Research (APDIO) that took place in Valença between 28 and 30 June 2017.
