INESC TEC collaborator wins Professor Carlos Barral Award at Porto Business School

Carlos Pinho, collaborator of INESC TEC’s Industry Partnership Service (SAPE) and Assistant Coordinator of the Centre for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CRAS), was awarded the Professor Carlos Barral Award, which is annually delivered by Porto Business School to students of the Executive MBA, in a ceremony that was held on 29 March.

The School and Programme Board selected six eligible students for the award in the edition of the 2017-2018 course, corresponding to a 10% of the class with the highest average rating. Among these students that complete the academic part with the best school performance, this award intends to particularly distinguish the student that according to his colleagues was able to show the best non-academic qualities, like the ability to connect the individual quality to the commitment and participation in a group.

The Professor Carlos Barral Award aims at honouring the memory of the first School Director, whose name is associated to the creation of the first two MBAs in Portugal. The award was delivered by Rui Couto Viana, Director of the Executive MBA, and Carlos Alves, Professor at Porto Business School.
