CRACS Researcher receives award at international conference

Ricardo Queirós a researcher from The Center for Research in Advanced Computer Systems (CRACS) and doctorate student at the Faculty of Science, University of Porto (FCUP) received the award for the best poster in the 9th European Conference on e-Learning (ECEL 2010).

The conference took place on the 4th and 5th November at the Higher Engineering Institute in Porto (ISEP). The poster "Towards e-Learning 2.0: Case Study of an e-Learning Environment" was developed in conjunction with Cândida Silva, Lino Oliveira and Mário Pinto, teachers at the Higher Education School of Industrial Studies and Management (ESEIG) which is integrated into the Knowledge Management, Interactive and Learning Technologies Research Group (KMILT).  

This was the 9th edition of the ECEL international conference and the principal objective was to create space for discussion on eLearning, focusing on methodologies, systems, standards and good practices. The conference was open to participation from specialists from both industry and academic backgrounds and users with a special interest in the area.
