Workshop on Quantified Occupational Health
- Register HERE -
The workshop entitled "AI technologies for monitoring workplaces and occupational health" is a multi-project workshop that aims to explore new perspectives on supporting and improving workers’ physical and mental well-being.
Bringing together a dynamic and diverse group of researchers coming from INESC TEC, Deutsche Bahn and the University of Dresden, the session is focused on how artificial intelligence strategies can be leveraged to build efficient, automatic tools that are able to assist and monitor workers' health, security and performance during labour activities.
The invited speakers will shed a light on the most recent and captivating results and ambitions from several national and European ongoing projects, namely AI4REALNET, Crops&Care and s2IO, as well as other recent achievements. Topics will span multiple domains, from reinforcement learning to biomedical engineering, wearable devices and psychology, each one of them with a shared emphasis on prioritising workers' well-being, especially in safety-critical environments. A final round table will be also organised to allow attendees to share their opinions and suggestions, to give everyone on the audience the opportunity to acknowledge new perspectives and create new research synergies. A detailed overview of the individual talks is available in the leaflet attached.
This session will take place on March 11 at 3:30 PM at INESC TEC.
Participation is free, and registration is not mandatory but needs to be filled until March 9 via the following form: https://forms.office.com/e/sQSTKkPpA2.
All sessions will be conducted in English.
