Workshop BioTecFor

INESC TEC will be organising the BIOTECFOR - Machines and Forestry Workshop, to discuss the following theme: needs and desires of innovation in machines and tools dedicated to forest cleaning and biomass collection.

This workshop brings together the main and most relevant manufacturers of forestry machinery (Portugal and Galicia), suppliers of forestry services (Portugal and Galicia) and sector associations (Forestis and AFG) with the aim of promoting innovation in forestry machinery in order to achieve in the sector:

- Innovative tools and technologies for new uses and enhancement of forest resources

- Sustainable management of forest areas, leading to greater profitability of forestry activity and a reduction of associated fire risks
