WHY JOIN THIS PROGRAM?

The digitalization of the shopfloor, contributing to the innovation and competitiveness of companies, plays a crucial role in efficiency, quality and speed. However, the implementation of digital initiatives faces complex challenges, often prolonging or delaying time, leading to unnecessary costs, implementation failures and/or falling short in terms of benefits.

Knowing where to start, knowing how to select technologies as well as what precautions to take when managing a digitalization project are fundamental issues to resolve in order to avoid problems that can delay and compromise the success of the initiative.

Increasing the visibility and transparency of the production process and optimizing processes with a view to greater efficiency, shorter production time, greater traceability and reduced defects (and rework), as well as increased quality are among the first issues to take into account in a factory floor digitalization project.

Reconverting or updating equipment and integrating it with new technologies, maximizing the potential of retrofitting is crucial in this process.

However, integrating sensors, IIoT devices, robotization technologies and MES/WMS systems into an existing operational process is complex. There are difficulties in selecting, configuring and maintaining these technologies, resulting in operational failures, fragmented data and difficulties in extracting meaningful information to improve processes and decision making.

This training program was designed to respond to these challenges, helping companies make digitalization happen.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

〉Digitization project managers, innovation managers, asset managers, production managers, logistics managers, process improvement managers, maintenance managers, engineering managers, line managers, warehouse managers.

〉Professionals in the manufacturing industry and services (retail, e-commerce, hospitals, etc.) who wish to implement digitalization in their fields.

OBJECTIVES:

_Plan and execute digitalization projects on the shopfloor.
_Know the sensors and IIoT technologies, best suited to the organization's reality, to collect and process data in real time.
_Know how to outline retrofitting actions ensuring the integration and optimization of old equipment.
_Deepen knowledge about robots and automation systems.
_Collect, process and present data to support decision making.
_Gain a better understanding of MES and WMS systems to improve operational efficiency.
_Know and analyze real success stories, challenges and good practices.
