INESC TEC Autumn Forum

REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN

The 10th edition of the INESC TEC Autumn Forum will take place on the afternoon of the 17th of November, at Casa da Música, to debate the theme “Being Human in the Age of AI: Identity, Ethics, and Society in a Technological World”.

Marzieh Fadaee (Cohere) and Gitta Kutyniok (LMU Munich) are the keynote speakers, and the discussion panel features Arlindo Oliveira (IST/INESC), Sofia Miguens (FLUP), Mário Figueiredo (IST), José Carlos Príncipe (University of Florida), and Mário Boto Ferreira (FLUL).

At a time when artificial intelligence challenges the boundaries of what it means to be human, the Forum aims to create a space for reflection and dialogue among different perspectives - from engineering to philosophy, from science to the arts - on the impact of AI on our lives, work, education, science, and innovation, and on the very idea of humanity.

this moment, which is also a milestone in the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of INESC in Porto, and an opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence can inspire, challenge, and transform the way we live, create, and relate as a society.

More information and registration available on the Forum website. Make sure to register until 5th of November!
