In previous editions, the event was attended by guests such as the Minister of National Defence and the Minister of Economy, political officials of the European Commission, as well as companies such as Airbus, Bell, Boeing, Embraer, Leonardo, OGMA, Stelia and many others.

For this year, AED will have the pleasure of bringing together, once again, all these key stakeholders together with the Portuguese ecosystem of the Aeronautics, Space and Defense sectors, also looking to future engineers and strengthening the relationship between Academy and Industry.

The novelty of this edition, and the main driver of this new event model, is the AED CAREERS. It will be a day dedicated to the employment and training opportunities that exist in these sectors. One of the priorities of the Cluster is the attraction and retention of talent for the Aeronautics, Space and Defense industries, which currently lack qualified resources.

The aim of the Cluster with AED CAREERS is to create an annual moment in which relations between Industry and Academia are stimulated, at a national level, trying to contribute so that the gap between job offer and demand in these sectors becomes smaller and smaller.
