Abstract
Due to the growth observed in the wearable market, stretchable strain sensors have been the focus of several studies. However, combining high sensitivity and linearity with low hysteresis presents a difficult challenge. Here, we propose a stretchable strain sensor obtained with off-the-shelf materials by printing a carbon conductive paste into a piece of fabric to be integrated into a smart garment. This process is cheap and easily scalable, allowing its mass production. The sensor developed has a large sensitivity (GF=11.27), high linearity (R-2>0.99), very low hysteresis (gamma(H) = 4.23%) and brings an added value, for example, in sports or rehabilitation monitoring.

Abstract
Taking advantage of the flexibility of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) can help improve distribution network efficiency, reliability and resilience. EUniversal project aims to facilitate the use of flexibility services and interlink active system management of distribution system operators with electricity markets. congestion management and voltage control have been identified has the most relevant needs, within different operation timeframes, namely: from day, weeks and years ahead. This paper considers long-term flexibility services to support maintenance actions, increasing the periods where is technically possible to perform maintenance actions maintaining security of operation. The methodology developed to schedule planned maintenance actions based on forecasted network profiles, maintenance costs, network reconfiguration capability and flexibility contracted in long-term flexible markets will be presented. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2023.

Abstract
The uncontrolled growth of some cities and significant social inequalities were reflected in the population's housing conditions. Since housing projects must meet the needs of their inhabitants today and in the future, impacted by climate change, it is essential to search for more sustainable alternatives for social housing. To help decision-making on housing programs and incentives for sustainable building, this study aims to identify the main barriers and critical success factors of sustainable building projects. With this objective, a combination of qualitative data collection methods was applied, including the literature review and semi-structured interviews. The study's main results are the most significant barriers to sustainable social housing, such as lack of information, high cost, and lack of government incentives. Besides the critical success factors to guide sustainable social housing projects, the study highlights results such as the implementation of policies by government and professional bodies, monitoring compliance by the government, and commitment to sustainable delivery with the opinion of all stakeholders. Therefore, sustainable social housing projects can work as a tool to encourage social housing, strengthening the environmental pillar of sustainability. Furthermore, directly benefits the population with lower purchasing power, strengthening the economic and social pillars.

Abstract
Advancement and opportunity in the Internet of Things (IoT) and circular economy are pushing the technologies required to develop eco-friendly memory devices, computing devices, advanced sensors, and actuators. In this manuscript, a thermally cycled lithium niobate pyroelectric crystal is used to store the surface charges in different dielectric samples (Kapton, Parafilm, and Teflon). Charge storing parameters, such as the effect of temperature ramp, the gap between the dielectric-to-pyroelectric, and the effect of charging cycles, were studied to understand the surface charge formation on dielectric samples. Pyroelectrically charged dielectrics showed a surface potential of up to 400 V, with a linear dependence on the thermal gradient of the pyroelectric crystal. The charged surface showed good charge storage uniformity and stability at high temperatures (90 degrees C) and relative humidity (>85%). Using the pyroelectrically charged dielectrics, wearable motion sensors offering output signals in the range of tens of millivolts and a digital flexible invisible memory encoding with polarity switched (positive and negative charges) electrostatic bits are demonstrated.

Abstract
The Digital Model concept of factory floor equipment allows simulation, visualization and processing, and the ability to communicate between the various workstations. The Digital Twin is the concept used for the digital representation of equipment on the factory floor, capable of collecting a set of data about the equipment and production, using physical sensors installed in the equipment. Within the scope of data visualization and processing, there is a need to manage information about parameters/conditions that the assembly line equipments must present to start a production order, or in a shift handover. This study proposes a paperless checklist to manage equipment information and monitor production ramp-up. The proposed solution is validated in a real-world industrial scenario, by comparing its suitability against the current paper-based approach to log information. Results show that the paperless checklist presents advantages over the current approach since it enables multi-access viewing and logging while maintaining a digital history of log changes for further analysis.
