JOURNAL OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Abstract
We prove a one-to-one correspondence between (i) C1+ conjugacy classes of C1+H Cantor exchange systems that are C1+H fixed points of renormalization and (ii) C1+ conjugacy classes of C1+H diffeomorphisms f with a codimension 1 hyperbolic attractor Lambda that admit an invariant measure absolutely continuous with respect to the Hausdorff measure on Lambda. However, we prove that there is no C1+alpha Cantor exchange system, with bounded geometry, that is a C1+alpha fixed point of renormalization with regularity alpha greater than the Hausdorff dimension of its invariant Cantor set. ON THE MOVE TO MEANINGFUL INTERNET SYSTEMS 2007: COOPIS, DOA, ODBASE, GADA, AND IS, PT 2, PROCEEDINGS
Abstract
Although cryptographic software implementation is often performed by expert programmers, the range of performance and security driven options, as well as more mundane software engineering issues, still make it a challenge. The use of domain specific language and compiler techniques to assist in description and optimisation of cryptographic software is an interesting research challenge. Our results, which focus on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), show that a suitable language allows description of ECC based software in a manner close to the original mathematics; the corresponding compiler allows automatic production of an executable whose performance is competitive with that of a hand-optimised implementation. Our work are set within the context of CACE, an ongoing EU funded project on this general topic.

ON THE MOVE TO MEANINGFUL INTERNET SYSTEMS 2007: OTM 2007 WORKSHOPS, PT 2, PROCEEDINGS
Abstract
Optimistic distributed systems often rely on version vectors or their variants in order to track updates on replicated objects. Some of these mechanisms rely on some form of global configuration or distributed naming protocol in order to assign unique identifiers to each replica. These approaches are incompatible with replica creation under arbitrary partitions, a typical operation mode in mobile or poorly connected environments. Other mechanisms assign unique identifiers relying on statistical correctness. In previous work we have introduced an update tracking mechanism that overcomes these limitations. This paper presents results from recent experimentation, that brought to surface a particular pattern of operation that results in an unforeseen, unlimited growth in space consumption. We also describe informally a new update tracking mechanism that does not exhibit this pathological growth while providing guaranteed unique identifiers for a dynamic number of replicas under arbitrary partitions and the same functionality of version vectors.

IBERGRID: 1ST IBERIAN GRID INFRASTRUCTURE CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Abstract
This paper contextualizes project EGEE: Grid computing, Virtual Organizations, clusters and authorities. The thematic included in Grid computing is based in a worldwide spread network, recurring to processing units and mass storage device to solve complex problems of multidiscipline areas of research. The high demand for Grid computing resources started with High Energy Physics area, conducting to an infinity of areas that transformed their problems to Grid computing language. The EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-science in Europe) is a European project that allies the search for knowledge using Grid infrastructures. In order to maintain the EGEE project sustainability, it's always necessary to attract more resources and researchers.
