Abstract
Portuguese Higher Education Institutions have more and more data that needs to be processed in order to get information and, therefore, Knowledge. In order to respond to this need, over time there have been several types of IS supported by ICT, which enables them to achieve these features and, at the same time, help with their daily activities. However, the continuous evolution of this technological component has led to a current high degree of complexity, from which the Information Systems Architectures emerged as means of increasing the effectiveness of its management and maintenance. Using the University of Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro as a case study, the research team proposed a generic ISA that enabled it to have a transversal vision of its IS, allowing the validation of existence/need IS focused on Information Management and decision-making under a multidimensional perspective, i.e., geared towards the various organizational levels, since the Operational level to the Strategic level, taking into account the information needs associated with each player.

The effects of brand experiences on quality, satisfaction and loyalty: An empirical study in the telecommunications multiple-play service market [Les effets des expériences de marque sur la qualité, la satisfaction et la fidélité: Une étude empirique dans le domaine des services multiples de télécommunications] [Efeitos das experiências de marca na qualidade, na satisfação e na lealdade: Estudo empírico no setor de serviços múltiplos de telecomunicações] [Efectos de las experiencias de marca en la calidad, la satisfacción y la lealtad: Estudio empírico en el sector de servicios múltiples de telecomunicaciones]

Abstract
This article seeks to add to the body of knowledge on the role played by brand experience and its relationship with satisfaction, trust and service quality in the development of loyalty. Structural Equation Modelling (sem) is used to analyze 690 telecommunications multiple-play users in the Portuguese telecommunications market. Our conclusions show that brand experiences can be used to generate loyalty, trust and quality perceptions; although satisfaction was confirmed to be the main loyalty predictor, service quality has an important indirect effect. In order to build customer loyalty, marketers must manage brand experiences, service quality, satisfaction and trust. Brand experiences can be explored as a way to differentiate services, to change customers’ perceptions toward a brand and, ultimately, lead to customer retention. Furthermore, providing reliable services is of the utmost importance for service providers.

Abstract
For docking manoeuvres, the detection of the objects to dock needs to be precise as the minimum deviation from the objective may lead to the failure of this task. The objective of this article is to test possible ways to detect a landmark using a laser rangefinder for docking manoeuvres. We will test a beacon-based localisation algorithm and an algorithm based on natural landmarks already implemented, however, we will apply modifications to such methods. To verify the possibility of docking using these methods, we will conduct experiments with a real robot. © Springer International Publishing AG 2018.

REVIEW OF MANAGERIAL SCIENCE

Abstract
Studies on entrepreneurial intentions often neglect the heterogeneity of individuals' education background. This paper develops an integrated intention-based framework and analyzes the impact of fields of study on entrepreneurial intentions. Based on a sample of 2423 final-year students, enrolled in 32 fields of study, and resorting to logistic estimations, we find that, beside the attitude towards starting a business, fields of study, considered at a highly detailed level, are relevant (direct and indirect) predictors of entrepreneurial intention. We unambiguously show that there is a huge hidden potential for new venture creation in fields of study related to creative and leisure activities (e.g., Arts and humanities, or, more specifically, Literature and linguistics, History and archaeology, Audio-visual techniques and media production, Sports, and Architecture and town planning), Law, and Health (most notably, Pharmacy and Veterinary). Significant differences in the level of intention between students of different fields of study indicate that universities should more extensively focus entrepreneurship education on students in other subject area than business or engineering/technology sciences.

Abstract
During the last few years an increasing focus has been made by the research community in utilizing wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in an abundant variety of different applications. Such types of sensor networks are usually supplied by non-rechargeable batteries in order to reduce the expenses. Multi-hop wireless sensor networks frequently utilize a time-division multiple-access (TDMA) plan with the purpose to systematically gather data from various positions of an extended region. The proposed access methods for the Medium Access Control (MAC) in this study combine hybrid proprieties. The proposed MAC specifies that in a given time interval the access to the medium has to be entirely free and without restrictions between the exterior nodes. While this event lasts, the nodes compete for a slot in the network. The proposed methodology corresponds to time-division hybrid multiple-access (TDHMA).

Abstract
Nowadays, treating the data as a continuous real-time flux is an exigence explained by the need for immediate response to events in daily life. We study the data like an ongoing data stream and represent it by streaming egocentric networks (Ego-Networks) of the particular nodes under study. We use a non-standard node forgetting factor in the representation of the network data stream, as previously introduced in the related literature. This way the representation is sensible to recent events in users' networks and less sensible for the past node events. We study this method with large scale Ego-Networks taken from telecommunications social networks with power law distribution. We aim to compare and analysis some reference Ego-Networks metrics, and their variation with or without forgetting factor.
