Abstract
Misinformation became pervasive on social media applications. The companies behind this kind of system have launched tools to avoid the problem, but some issues regarding the user behavior and proper software quality still need a forceful approach. First attempts to mitigate misinformation did not take into account user behavior and softwares requirements like learnability and accuracy, furthermore the characteristics of actors and artifacts from social media applications ecosystem has not been explored. This research aims to evaluate the usability of available tools made to combat the spread of misinformation and to verify the interrelationship between actors and artifacts from social media applications ecosystem for suggesting improvements on development of these tools.

Abstract
Process variations in MOS manufacturing processes tend to increase within each new technology node, leading to lower production yields, particularly those of analogue circuits, which are also sensitive to external perturbations that might force there performance to drift beyond there admissible tolerance margins. This issue is addressed here with the design of a calibratable N-Integer phase-locked loop (PLL) based frequency synthesizer. In the approach being proposed, a statistical analysis is carried out to know the sensitivity of the PLL performance to expected process, temperature, and voltage variations. A training data set is then identified and used to define the calibration law and the required calibration algorithm. Simulation results are presented that confirm its validity.

Emerging Trends, Techniques, and Tools for Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Management - Advances in Educational Technologies and Instructional Design

Abstract
Fraunhofer AICOS, a research and development institute, and University of Porto made a joint venture with Mandela Metropolitan University and Eduardo Mondlane University in order to establish a set of guidelines based on an extensive research and experimental fieldwork to answer more efficiently to a user-centered design approach and focus on different users and different usage contexts. Those guidelines and this chapter provide recommendations to cope with cultural diversity, illiteracy, oral-based cultures, ergonomic factors, digital interface design, and social and environmental constraints, helping to understand problems and define strategic design actions in order to develop more user-centered solutions, focus on users' needs and expectations regarding their cultural, environmental, and technical contexts.

APPLIED ENERGY

Abstract
Integration of wind energy and other renewable energy resources in electrical systems create some challenges due to their uncertain and variable characteristics. In the quest for more flexibility of the electric systems, combination of these endogenous and renewable resources in accordance with strategies of Demand Response (DR) allows an increment/improvement of the demand potential, as well as a more secure, robust, sustainable and economically advantageous operation. This paper proposes a new model for integration of wind power and DR, thus optimizing supply and demand side operations through a price rule Time of Use (TOU), or incentive with Emergency DR Program (EDRP), as well as combining TOU and EDRP together. The problem is modelled using a stochastic Heuristic Multi-Objective Multi-Criteria Decision Making (HMM) method which aims to minimize operation costs and environmental emissions simultaneously, ensuring the security constraints through two-stage stochastic programming, considering various techno-economic indices such as load factor, electricity market prices, Energy Not Supplied (ENS) and Share Weighted Average Lerner Index (SWALI). Comprehensive numerical results indicate that the proposed model is entirely efficient in DR planning and power system operation.
