Abstract
Todays' market is ruled by several mobile devices applications for all types of proposes. Still, for many destinations, it lacks applications that work in an integrated way, combining cooperative mechanisms that allow the effective support the wide range of tourists need when they visit a destination. Many applications, currently available, to the tourism industry are limited in content and cultural offerings, and commercial applications only communicate with their partners and have no cultural content. This paper presents a framework of a mobile application implementation to support the tourist information needs when tourists are visiting the Portuguese city of Mirandela in which interest points are combined with commercial content. The presented model allows the tourist to have only one application that integrates the contents that he wishes/subscribes, both cultural and commercial, creating a parametrizable universal profile that can be accessed by any of the entities in the system. This approach will benefit both tourists and entities involved. This will also allow increasing the dissemination of regional products and/or services and thereby increase their market potential and consequently their sales.

Abstract
The proliferation of false information on social networks is one of the hardest challenges in today's society, with implications capable of changing users perception on what is a fact or rumor. Due to its complexity, there has been an overwhelming number of contributions from the research community like the analysis of specific events where rumors are spread, analysis of the propagation of false content on the network, or machine learning algorithms to distinguish what is a fact and what is "fake news". In this paper, we identify and summarize some of the most prevalent works on the different categories studied. Finally, we also discuss the methods applied to deceive users and what are the next main challenges of this area.

Abstract
The number of IoT devices and the volume of network traffic has grown continuously during the past years. IoT devices are smart devices designed with simple functions in mind, like collecting the temperature or opening a door. However, IoT devices lack a good security layer due to lack of resources: small memory, processor and/or battery. Consequently, new potential attacks and security problems have arisen. In order to detect and mitigate these security problems Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) can be used, However, abnormal traffic must be distinguished from normal IoT patterns. In this article, a study was done on characterization of traffic signatures of two typical IoT application protocols - MQTT and MQTTS - with the objective of generating and collecting IP flows of said traffic. An IoT application scenario was simulated and using the traffic collected, an analysis of MQTT and MQTTS flows were elaborated to identify flow-based signatures that could be used to identify the network traffic of IoT application protocols.

Abstract
This paper presents a dynamic model of modular multilevel converters (MMCs), which are considered as an effective interface between energy sources and the power grid. By improving the converter performance, appropriate reactive power compensation is guaranteed. Modulation indices are calculated based on detailed harmonic evaluations of both dynamic and steady-state operation modes, which is considered as the main contribution of this paper in comparison with other methods. As another novelty of this paper, circulating current control is accomplished by embedding an additional second harmonic component in the modulation process. The proposed control method leads to an effective reduction in capacitor voltage fluctuation and losses. Finally, converter's maximum stable operation range is modified, which provides efficiency enhancements and also stability assurance. The proficiency and functionality of the proposed controller are demonstrated through detailed theoretical analysis and simulations with MATLAB/Simulink.
