Abstract
The Android permissions system provides all-or-nothing access to users' photos stored on smartphones, and the permissions which control access to stored photos can be confusing to the average user. Our analysis found that 73% of the top 250 free apps on the Google Play store have permissions that may not reflect their ability to access stored photos. We propose CHIPS, a unique content-based fine-grained run-time access control system for stored photos for Android which requires minimal user assistance, runs entirely locally, and provides low-level enforcement. CHIPS can recognize faces with minimal user training to deny apps access to photos with known faces. CHIPS's privacy identification has low overheads as privacy checks are cached, and is accurate, with false-positive and false-negative rates of less than 8%. © 2014 ACM.

Abstract

Abstract
Stereoscopic tabletops offer unique visualization capabilities, enabling users to perceive virtual objects as if they were lying above the surface. While allowing virtual objects to coexist with user actions in the physical world, interaction with these virtual objects above the surface presents interesting challenges. In this paper, we aim to understand which approaches to 3D virtual object manipulations are suited to this scenario. To this end, we implemented five different techniques based on the literature. Four are mid-air techniques, while the remainder relies on multi-touch gestures, which act as a baseline. Our setup combines affordable non-intrusive tracking technologies with a multi-touch stereo tabletop, providing head and hands tracking, to improve both depth perception and seamless interactions above the table. We conducted a user evaluation to find out which technique appealed most to participants. Results suggest that mid-air interactions, combining direct manipulation with six degrees of freedom for the dominant hand, are both more satisfying and efficient than the alternatives tested.

Abstract
This study provides an overview of the fuzzy TOPSIS and Multi-Choice Goal Programming (MCGP) methods for Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) problem under uncertain environments. Supplier selection is mostly a complex multi-criteria problem which consists of qualitative and quantitative criteria. Those criteria should be considered advertently as a final decision in comprehensive and objective supplier selection as well. This study deal with the optimum decision making for selecting supplier and allocating order by applying the proposed method of integrated fuzzy TOPSIS and MCGP (Multi-Choice Goal Programming). To deal with the uncertain and imprecise judgment of decision makers, a Fuzzy TOPSIS is utilized to express it by triangular fuzzy numbers. The final supplier selection and order allocation are obtained by integrating the closeness coefficients to the MCGP model. A numerical example is given to clarify the main results developed in this paper. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
