Abstract
Using Voltage Source Converter (VSC) based High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technologies, in a Multi-terminal dc (MTDC) system, has been envisaged as an attractive solution for connecting the large offshore wind farms that have been planned to meet the EU renewable energy targets. The control and operation of VSC-HVDC technologies comprise a number of challenging tasks, aiming to assure an effective integration of MTDC systems in ac transmission systems. Stability studies play a key role within this framework. Among them, small signal stability analysis is required. Therefore, in this paper, modal analysis is performed for assessing small signal stability, in terms of the electromechanical modes of oscillation, considering the combined AC-MTDC system. Also, this paper evaluates the interest of installing classical Power Systems Stabilizer (PSS) in the onshore VSC stations for providing additional damping to the electromechanical modes of oscillation. Simultaneous tuning is performed for adjusting the parameters of these PSS based controllers. For this purpose, an optimization based approach exploiting Evolutionary Particle Swarm Optimization (EPSO) is proposed. Modal analysis and time domain simulations are performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.

Abstract
Event labeling is the process of marking events in unlabeled data. Traditionally, this is done by involving one or more human experts through an expensive and timeconsuming task. In this article we propose an event labeling system relying on an ensemble of detectors and background knowledge. The target data are the usage log of a real bike sharing system. We first label events in the data and then evaluate the performance of the ensemble and individual detectors on the labeled data set using ROC analysis and static evaluation metrics in the absence and presence of background knowledge. Our results show that when there is no access to human experts, the proposed approach can be an effective alternative for labeling events. In addition to the main proposal, we conduct a comparative study regarding the various predictive models performance, semi-supervised and unsupervised approaches, train data scale, time series filtering methods, online and offline predictive models, and distance functions in measuring time series similarity.

Abstract
This article analyzes the use of physical education in treating mental illness by describing the contributions of this area to mental health therapies. Based on several studies, the authors discuss the benefits of physical education as a therapeutic aid in reducing the symptoms of psychic disorders. The conclusion is that physical education and science can be useful to psychiatry as part of interdisciplinary efforts in the treatment of patients with mental distress.

Abstract
In the last years, new technologies - referred as emerging information and communication technologies (EICTs), have appeared and are immersed in peoples' lives assisting them and facilitating their daily activities. Taking advantage of the diffusion and infusion of these technologies, governments are using EICTs to deliver better public services to citizens. However, to address citizens' demands and to provide customer oriented services governments face various types of challenges. The aim of this research work is to provide solutions to some of the challenges, in particular to the rapid development of electronic public services (EPS) and the service integration in the context of development of smart cities. Following the aim, we propose an approach, called Virtual Factory for Smart City Service Integration. The idea of the virtual factory is to provide a framework to automatically produce software based on a given set of specifications of a family of EPS taking advantage of similarities in the EPS business processes. The expected contributions of this research work is to produce a domain specific language (DSL) for service specification and supporting tools that based on the produced specifications, workflow techniques and ideas of software product lines (SPL) can automatically produce software applications for EPS that can be easily parameterized and completed. EXAMINING ROBUSTNESS AND VULNERABILITY OF NETWORKED SYSTEMS

Abstract
Hop constraints are used to limit the number of links between two given points in a network, this way improving the quality of service by increasing the availability and reliability of the network. They have been applied to a limited number of problems, although their application can be of the greatest importance both from the academical and practical points-of-view. In this work, we survey relevant and recent works on hop-constrained problems focusing on problems with free shaped solutions.
