Abstract
The electricity field is facing major challenges in the implementation of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) at a large scale. End users are taking on the role of electricity producers and consumers simultaneously (prosumers), acting like Distributed Energy Resources (DER), injecting their excess electricity into the grid. This challenges the management of grid load balance, increases running costs, and is later reflected in the tariffs paid by consumers, thus threatening the widespread of RES. The Flexigy project explores a solution to this topic by proposing a smart-grid architecture for day-ahead flexibility scheduling of individual and Renewable Energy Community (REC) resources. Our solution is prepared to allow Transmission System Operators (TSO) to request Demand Response (DR) services in emergency situations. This paper overviews the grid balance problematic, introduces the main concepts of energy flexibility and DR, and focuses its content on explaining the Flexigy architecture.

IECON 2021 - 47TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE IEEE INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS SOCIETY

Abstract
The remote maintenance of home appliances, like washing machines, air conditioning, and heating system is a complex problem, but with the help of the ongoing developments on Internet of Things, Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, the problem can now be tackled with success. This paper mostly focus in presenting the architecture developed within the aim of the SMART-PDM project for the acquisition of data on the operation of home appliances and then it also shows some preliminary results for washing machines, which give some hints on how to fine tune the system to achieve predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.

Abstract
This paper introduces RVAF, a runtime verification (RV) extension of the Arrowhead Framework (AF) with container-based service-deployment and runtime-enforcement of a desired quality of service (QoS). AF is a service-oriented middleware architecture for IoT-applications, consisting of a set of core and auxiliary services and systems, respectively. The QoS manager (QoSM) is one AF's most important auxiliary systems, which can be used to guarantee the application's QoS for a wide set of parameters. In RVAF the QoS offered to a particular IoT-application is specified in signal temporal logic, and is continuously monitored by the RVAF-QoSM. In case of an imminent violation, RVAF automatically initiates a container-based reconfiguration, which is ensured to maintain the desired QoS. RVAF is beneficial to large IoT-applications, where the use of continuous-integration and continuous-deployment tools, is not only a recommended practice but also a necessity. Moreover, the use of RVAF is advantageous both during the development of an IoT application, and after its deployment. We describe the architecture of RVAF, provide its formal underpinning, and demonstrate the usefulness of RVAF supported by an industrial IoT application. The main contribution of this work is to show what it takes to incorporate RV concepts into modern SOA frameworks supporting the development of IoT applications.

Abstract
In democratic countries, government websites became an important channel for interaction with the public administration in the last few years. Nevertheless, several issues have an impact on the way users access to content and information. Lack of accessibility and usability or, in the broad sense, lack of concern with user needs, can still be found in many government websites. To address the problem, a previous literature review on e-government information delivery attributes was performed. Based on this review, a large set of attributes related to quality was obtained to evaluate these dimensions in the context of e-government. The purpose of this study is to better understand which of these attributes are the most valued, in the users' perspective, for evaluating content delivered by government websites. A qualitative approach was adopted, using Focus Group interviews as a strategy to obtain data and Thematic Analysis to analyze such data. The main results highlighted the attributes related to content delivery, interaction, and emotional aspects. User Experience, accessibility, and usability were prioritized by Focus Group participants.

Abstract
The general objective of this article is to present the importance of robotics as well as the development of robots for use by elementary and middle students. In addition to discussing pedagogical mediation in this context. The reason for the development of this work centers on the need for studies on Robotics in the educational environment and its networks of relations with a focus on learning of students and on the need for a change in the culture of the school. The methodology of this work is based on the cartographic method of research and intervention that, instead of seeking a result or conclusion, seeks to follow the process, seeking to establish relationships. Thus, we began mapping the pedagogical mediation between the teachers and students of the municipal schools of Viamão, EMEF Residencial Figueira and EMEF Sergeant Manoel Raymundo Soares. In order to understand the pedagogical mediation of the inventive robot robotics activities for the competitions of the II Municipal Robotics Exhibition of the Viamão Municipality - Rio Grande do Sul. From the results, we can highlight that the students seek to improve their knowledge in related areas, such as in physics, mathematics, electronics, programming and mechanics. Assuming an inventive and active stance, it also enables students to build not only concepts, skills, but also values and ideals in order to contribute to society. Making them autonomous, independent and responsible citizens.
