ArticlePortugal addressed the European Commission's call for the creation of digital and interoperable buildings and electrical grids in Europe. The Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) led the activities for four and a half years, with a budget of €36M and 50 partners, which include manufacturers, research institutions, distribution grid operators, IoT and ICT providers, retailers and final consumers. The outcome?
