INESC P&D Brasil in partnership with the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Brazil

The Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) ratified the decision of strengthening its relationship with INESC P&D Brasil and becoming a full associate of the institute. On 16 September, the decision was acknowledged through an allusive plate delivered to the Rector Luiz Alberto Pilatti by the President of INESC P&D Brasil, Vladimiro Miranda.
UTFPR has now the status of founding associate of INESC P&D Brasil, as it was already an active part in INESC Brasil Network for years, through the participation of its professors in projects of the Institute. The formalisation of the institutional affiliation is only possible due to the legislative changes that occurred in Brasil in 2017, with the publication of the new Legal Framework for Higher Education.
Regarding the partnership, the Rector of UTFPR said that “INESC P&D Brasil plays a very important role for UTFPR and other universities, which is the prospection and development of projects”.
