SOLAR Photovoltaic to MOVE for Systems Integration

Electric vehicles (EVs) represent an advancement in the green transition. However, they also have a considerable impact on the power grid. The EU-funded SOLAR-MOVE project aims to enhance EV adoption while reducing their impact on the electricity grids. It will focus on tailored solutions in various types of vehicles, extending range and decreasing reliance on grid energy. A consortium of 34 partners across 16 countries will develop vehicle prototypes and charging stations. The results of pilot projects in Albania, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia and Turkey will help shape policies, guidelines and incentives to support the deployment of technologies.
