SIMULATION MODELLING PRACTICE AND THEORY
Abstract
Data crowdsourcing is a data acquisition process where groups of voluntary contributors feed platforms with highly relevant data ranging from news, comments, and media to knowledge and classifications. It typically processes user-generated data streams to provide and refine popular services such as wikis, collaborative maps, e-commerce sites, and social networks. Nevertheless, this modus operandi raises severe concerns regarding ill-intentioned data manipulation in adver-sarial environments. This paper presents a simulation, modelling, and classification approach to automatically identify human and non-human (bots) as well as benign and malign contributors by using data fabrication to balance classes within experimental data sets, data stream modelling to build and update contributor profiles and, finally, autonomic data stream classification. By employing WikiVoyage - a free worldwide wiki travel guide open to contribution from the general public - as a testbed, our approach proves to significantly boost the confidence and quality of the classifier by using a class-balanced data stream, comprising both real and synthetic data. Our empirical results show that the proposed method distinguishes between benign and malign bots as well as human contributors with a classification accuracy of up to 92%.

Abstract
In this paper we define several notions of term expansion, used to define terms with less sharing, but with the same computational properties of terms typable in an intersection type system. Expansion relates terms typed by associative, commutative and idempotent intersections with terms typed in the Curry type system and the relevant type system; terms typed by non-idempotent intersections with terms typed in the affine and linear type systems; and terms typed by non-idempotent and non-commutative intersections with terms typed in an ordered type system.

Abstract
A typical example of a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a system that allows a person to move a ball displayed on a computer screen to the left or to the right, simply by imagining the movement of the left or right hand, respectively. Since the term Brain-Computer Interface was coined in 1973, the interest and efforts in this field have grown tremendously and there are now thought to be several hundred laboratories worldwide developing research in this topic. This paper aims at summarizing its resulting knowledge in a way that allows for a quick and clear consultation, highlighting the research lines, technologies and the most relevant cases of applications, so that policy makers, professionals and consumers can make effective use of the findings. With this in mind, a Brain-Computer Interface toolkit is proposed with a focus on different target audiences (e.g., children, seniors, people with intellectual disabilities) that can take advantage of this resource and promote an independent life routine. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

ASTRONOMY & ASTROPHYSICS
Abstract
Stars orbiting the compact radio source Sgr A* in the Galactic Center serve as precision probes of the gravitational field around the closest massive black hole. In addition to adaptive optics-assisted astrometry (with NACO/VLT) and spectroscopy (with SINFONI/VLT, NIRC2/Keck and GNIRS/Gemini) over three decades, we have obtained 30-100 mu as astrometry since 2017 with the four-telescope interferometric beam combiner GRAVITY/VLTI, capable of reaching a sensitivity of m(K)=20 when combining data from one night. We present the simultaneous detection of several stars within the diffraction limit of a single telescope, illustrating the power of interferometry in the field. The new data for the stars S2, S29, S38, and S55 yield significant accelerations between March and July 2021, as these stars pass the pericenters of their orbits between 2018 and 2023. This allows for a high-precision determination of the gravitational potential around Sgr A*. Our data are in excellent agreement with general relativity orbits around a single central point mass, M-center dot=4.30 x 10(6)M(circle dot), with a precision of about +/- 0.25%. We improve the significance of our detection of the Schwarzschild precession in the S2 orbit to 7 sigma. Assuming plausible density profiles, the extended mass component inside the S2 apocenter (approximate to 0.23 '' or 2.4 x 10(4)R(S)) must be less than or similar to 3000M(circle dot)(1 sigma), or less than or similar to 0.1% of M-center dot. Adding the enclosed mass determinations from 13 stars orbiting Sgr A* at larger radii, the innermost radius at which the excess mass beyond Sgr A* is tentatively seen is r approximate to 2.5 ''>= 10x the apocenter of S2. This is in full harmony with the stellar mass distribution (including stellar-mass black holes) obtained from the spatially resolved luminosity function.

IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS
Abstract
Geomagnetically induced currents (GICs) are referred to as the quasi-dc current flows in power networks, driven by complex space weather-related phenomena. Such currents are a potential threat to the power delivery capability of electrical grids. To mitigate the detrimental impacts of GICs on critical infrastructures, the GICs should be monitored in power systems. Being inherently dc from the power frequency point of view, the components of GICs are, however, challenging and costly to monitor in ac power grids. This article puts forward a novel methodology for the real-time estimation of GICs in power transformers. Such aim is attained by means of an extended Kalman filter (EKF)-based approach, mounted on the nonlinear state-space model of the transformer, whose parameters can be derived from standard tests. The proposed EKF-based algorithm employs the available measurements for the transformer differential protection. The proposed approach, relying on the differential current, can properly deal with the external sources of interference like harmonic excitation and loading. The EKF-based estimator presented is validated by simulation and experimental data. The results verify the ability of the proposed approach to robustly estimate the GIC level during various operating conditions.

Abstract
Website is a bridge between users and online information. It is extremely important in terms of marketing and must be designed according to the rules of usability, especially in hotel industry. Websites with high usability value will be accessed by more users. Therefore, building a useful website is important. This study aims to evaluate, from the point of view of usability, the websites of hotel establishments in Terras de Tras-os-Montes, a region located in the north of Portugal.
