Abstract
This research establishes a comprehensive chronological and geographical overview of the recent topics mostly debated about the use of Lean thinking in services, disclosing its main trends, gaps and weaknesses. An ample compilation of research from Web of Science and Scopus was examined, and bibliometric analyses were performed, namely publication counting, and abstract, co-citation and co-word analysis. Unfolding Lean implementation projects and evaluating its outcomes are the most frequent themes. Reducing waste and increasing efficiency are often mentioned as the benefits. There are clear gaps in research density between multiple service sectors and healthcare; lack of established models and extensive use of case study method are the weaknesses of the studies in this field. This paper allows Lean practitioners having a sketch of the landscape of this field and its trends. This is the first effort to synthesize those topics in service industry as a whole, using bibliometric methods.

Abstract
Nowadays, with the availability of 3D printers, the scanners for objects are becoming increasingly present since they allow to replicate objects by 3D printing, especially for small scale sizes. However, the majority of these technologies are expensive, due to the complexity of this task. Therefore, this work presents a prototype of a low-cost 3D scanning system for small objects using a point cloud to stereolithography approach where it was already validated in simulation in previous work. This concept has a restriction that the objects must have a uniform shape, i.e, without discontinuities. The architecture is composed of two stepper motors, due to their precision, a rotating plate to allow 360 degrees scans and another rotating structure that allows the infrared distance sensor to scan the object from bottom to top (90 degrees). The prototype was validated in the real scenario with good results.

Abstract
The worldwide context has fostered the innovation geared to the blue growth. However, the aquatic environment imposes many restrictions to mobile robots, as their perceptual capacity becomes severely limited. DIIUS aims to strengthen the perception of distributed robotic systems to improve the current procedures for inspection of aquatic structures (constructions and/or vessels).The perception of large working areas from multiples robots raises a number of unresolved inference problems and calls for new interaction patterns between multiple disciplines, both at the conceptual and technical level. To address this important challenge, the DIIUS project seeks to reinforce the current state-of-art in several scientific domains that fit into artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics. Through case studies focused on 3D mapping of aquatic structures (ex., maritime constructions and adduction tunnels), the project investigates new spatio-temporal data association techniques, including the correlation of sensors from heterogeneous robot formations operating in environments with communications constraints.

Abstract
Agent-based simulation tools have found many applications in the field of Power and Energy Systems, as they can model and analyze the complex synergies of dynamic and continuously evolving systems. While some studies have been done w.r.t. simulation and decision support for electricity markets and smart grids, there is still a generalized limitation referring to the significant lack of interoperability between independently developed systems, hindering the task of addressing all the relevant existing interrelationships. This work presents the Semantic Services Catalog (SSC), developed and implemented for the automatic registry, discovery, composition, and invocation of web and agent-based services. By adding a semantic layer to the description of different types of services, this tool supports the interaction between heterogeneous multiagent systems and web services with distinct capabilities that complement each other. The case study confirms the applicability of the developed work, wherein multiple simulation and decision-support tools work together managing a microgrid of residential and office buildings. Using SSC, besides discovering each other, agents also learn about the ontologies and languages to use to communicate with each other effectively. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Abstract
In order to secure wireless communications, we consider the usage of physical-layer security (PLS) mechanisms (i.e., coding for secrecy mechanisms) combined with self-interference generation. We present a prototype implementation of a scrambled coding for secrecy mechanisms with interference generation by the legitimate receiver and the cancellation of the effect of self-interference (SI). Regarding the SI cancellation, four state-of-the-art algorithms were considered: Least mean square (LMS), normalized least mean square (NLMS), recursive least squares (RLS) and QR decomposition recursive least squares (QRDRLS). The prototype implementation is performed in real-world software-defined radio (SDR) devices using GNU-Radio, showing that the LMS outperforms all other algorithms considered (NLMS, RLS and QRDRLS), being the best choice to use in this situation (SI cancellation). It was also shown that it is possible to secure communication using only noise generation by the legitimate receiver, though a variation of the packet loss rate (PLR) and the bit error rate (BER) gaps is observed when moving from the fairest to an advantageous or a disadvantageous scenario. Finally, when noise generation was combined with the adapted scrambled coding for secrecy with a hidden key scheme, a noteworthy security improvement was observed resulting in an increased BER for Eve with minor interference to Bob.
