CTGE - Advanced Consulting Services - Power Market Analysis in Iberia

The project is structured around two main lines of work. The first focuses on the dynamic frequency analysis of the Iberian power system, through the development of a simulation platform able to assess different disturbance scenarios, identify future needs for ancillary services and reserves across the different control areas, and analyze the effectiveness of coordination platforms. The second line focuses on the modelling of the Iberian electricity market, through the calibration and development of an improved version of CEVESA, with optimal cross-border interconnection capacity allocation, in order to assess the future evolution of the market under possible development scenarios, while also using as inputs the needs identified in the first line of work.
