Born in 2000, João Sousa has been a research assistant at the Centre for Power and Energy Systems at INESC TEC since January 2024, with a master's degree in Mathematical Engineering, graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Interested in politics from an early age, always had a proactive stance in academic life, holding positions of student representation and participating in various learning and volunteering projects. His passion for science and his understanding that everything in life is based on it, goes far beyond the fascination with his area of study, Mathematics, and encompasses the areas of Medicine, Biology, Psychology, Physics, Computing and Energy.
