About
Fábio D. Pacheco is a Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications, Electronics, and Computers, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). He is currently a research fellow at INESC TEC in the Centre for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CRAS), where he contributes to the development of multimodal and multi-medium communication systems applied to aquatic robotics. He also supports various devices through the development of drivers, libraries, and additional open-source hardware.
In parallel, he collaborates on the development of techniques for microplastics detection. His research interests focus on high-performance low-level computing and security in embedded systems, applied to telecommunications, sensing, and data analysis.
